Becoming an HDMI Associate

The HDMI Associate Program is designed to recognize and promote resellers, system integrators, specialty retailers, and anyone else selling 100% compliant HDMI products under their own brands.

Becoming an HDMI Associate sends a strong message to the marketplace that your company deals exclusively in high-quality, fully-tested products, clearly differentiating you from unscrupulous competitors who may try to pass off shoddy or counterfeit merchandise at unreasonably low prices.

As an HDMI Associate, we will provide you with tools, information, and opportunities to help you establish credibility, drive visibility, increase your brand awareness and protect your valuable reputation.

Program Benefits:

  • Greater visibility and recognition among HDMI Adopters, retailers, installers, and consumers.
  • Promotion of the Associates’ brands on the hdmi.org website and other HDMI-related communications.
  • Associates’ products can be listed in the HDMI Product Finder, a searchable database that includes product SKUs, specifications, images, sales contacts, and more.
  • Potential co-marketing opportunities with HDMI Licensing, LLC, including trade expositions, developer conferences, and road shows worldwide.
  • Authorization to use the HDMI Associate emblem in marketing and packaging.

Program Requirements:

  • Provide documentation to establish that all HDMI products offered have been purchased from HDMI Adopters of good standing and have been tested in accord with the HDMI Compliance Test Specification.
  • Comply with the HDMI Adopted Trademark and Logo Usage Guidelines.
  • Pay an annual program membership fee of US$3,000.

  1. In order to download and read the Associate Program Agreement, complete the online registration form below and click "Submit".
  2. You will receive an email with a link that enables access to the Associate Program Agreement.
  3. MAIL two signed copies of the agreement to:

  4. Once the signed agreement has been received, we will generate an invoice for the fee amount and send that invoice to the primary contact person identified in your registration. If you need an invoice prior to signing the agreement, please email us at admin@hdmi.org.

NOTE: Your status will remain “pending” until HDMI Licensing, LLC receives the signed agreements and fee. Once these are received, your membership will be activated and you will receive access to the HDMI Associate extranet.
