Over 400 design engineers and product planners from some of China’s largest CE and PC manufacturers attended this year’s HDMI Developers Conference. The capacity crowd learned the most current information and technical details of the newly released HDMI Specification Version 1.4 from market-leading companies.
Steve Venuti, President of HDMI Licensing, LLC, opened the conference with a market update and overview of the HDMI Specification Version 1.4. Jeff Park, HDMI Technology Evangelist, presented a technical overview on the newly released version of the HDMI specification. Test equipment providers Tektronix and Quantum Data offered valuable insight on compliance testing and interoperability for CE and PC devices. Cable provider Molex and semiconductor manufacturers RedMere and Silicon Image rounded out the conference with perspectives from component producers.
