Become an HDMI Adopter

Steps:

  1. Click the “Become an Adopter” button to start your HDMI registration process.    Step 1
  2.  Determine your appropriate status. Choose the type of agreement that fits your business, and download 2 copies of the HDMI Adopter Agreement. Please read the document carefully and be prepared to send 2 signed, original copies of your Adopter Agreement to HDMI licensing once you complete phase 1 of the HDMI registration process.   Step 2
  3. Choose the “Become an Adopter Button.” This will direct you to the contact part of the registration process.   Step 3
  4. Please enter all of the appropriate information in the fields displayed. Please pay particular attention to the fields denoted with and asterisk (*) as these are mandatory.

    Please make sure you choose the appropriate country. Failure to do so may cause a delay in completing your registration process!    Step 4
  5. Please pay particular attention to the “Personal information” section as this will be used for your future login on the HDMI Extranet! Please also make sure that your password has, at least, 7 characters for improved security.

    Please double check your information! When you are ready to proceed, click the continue button.   Step 5
  6. You must select the type of agreement that best fits your business model.. Please consult with your Legal staff for clarification. Make sure you add a purchase order number, if you have one, and reference any possible ship date as this will make your future royalty reporting much easier. Click “continue” to proceed.    Step 6
  7. Please double check your information and click “continue” to proceed.   Step 7
  8. You’re almost finished! Please double check your information and click “Place Your Request” to complete the transaction.    Step 8
  9. Congratulations! You have now completed Authorization phase of the HDMI registration process. To complete your registration, you must: 1) Send in 2 signed, original copies of your Adopter agreement to HDMI Licensing, LLC. 1060 E. Arques Ave., Suite 100. Sunnyvale, CA 94085; and 2) make your initial HDMI Annual payment.    Step 9
