HDMI LA Releases Revision to Adopted Trademark and Logo Usage Guidelines
The updated HDMI® Adopted Trademark and Logo Usage Guidelines (ATLUGs) dated January 2, 2026, are available for download.
The latest revision introduces some changes that may affect your product design and marketing activities. We strongly encourage you to share this notice and the updated ATLUGs with all relevant team members, including but not limited to employees across your organization and affiliates, and any resellers and distributors who market or sell your products. Within the next 18 months after the release of the 2026 ATLUG’s, it’s important that all products, all related packaging, marketing and instructional materials and other related collateral, shall comply with the latest ATLUGs.
Below are the highlighted changes:
• HDMI Port Design Logo Rotation
The Adopted Trademarks may be rotated in either direction, right or left with the appropriate trademark notation rotated respectively. The HDMI Port Design Logo may also be rotated 180 degrees upside down, and the appropriate trademark notation shall be adjusted to match its orientation. Approved images will be available online at https://www.hdmi.org/resource/logos .

“All HDMI trademarks and trade dress are registered trademarks or trademarks of HDMI Licensing Administrator, Inc.”
• Preferred logo for Premium HDMI Cables
